Description
Elsie's is a new traditional style bespoke Plankbridge Shepherd's Hut with a very contemporary feel, made to a very high standard. It is warm and cosy with its solid English oak floor, Farrow & Ball painted interior and Hobbit log burning stove. The hut has a spacious shower room with WC, Belfast sink and storage cupboards, double window and stable door. It is lit by solar power & has two 12v charging points for mobile phone or iPad and wifi. Outside there is an undercover cooking area with sink,camping stove, BBQ and fire basket. A private garden area with table and chairs for al fresco dining. All cooking & dining equipment is provided. Sit up on the comfy double bed or by the stable door to see views across the fields or watch the sunset. A great glamping experience in a rural setting just outside the S Downs National Park. Brighton & the coast a 20 minute scenic drive.over the Downs . |

Situated on the south east coast of England between Hampshire and Kent the county of Sussex has its origins in the historic Kingdom of Sussex, its name deriving from the Old English for 'South Saxons'.
From the populated coastal plain, overlooking the English Channel, through the beautiful hills of the South Downs to the wooded Sussex Weald, this is a county full of interest and full of contrasts. It is also steeped in history with the Romans having invaded England in ancient times via Sussex, and the later Battle of Hastings being fought here.
Sussex has much to offer the visitor whether they stay on the coast or further inland. With the notable cities of Chichester and landmarks such as the Seven Sisters where the South Downs meet the coast, as well as sporting interest such as the Goodwood race track, in addition to many tourist attractions, stately homes, castles and good restaurants and pubs there is more than enough to fill any holiday in this area. Whether you're looking for peace and quiet or the hustle and bustle of city life, Sussex offers it all.
